Happy Birthday, Harry Potter!
And, Happy Birthday J.K. Rowling. If you didn’t know, the creator of the Harry Potter books shares her birthday with the wizard (or is it the other way around?)
The author turned 54 today. Emma Watson, who played Hermoine Granger in the movie’s adaptation of the series, shared a throwback picture of J.K. Rowling, her co-star Evanna Lynch, and herself at a party. Emma was disguised as Wonder Woman, Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the series was a cute cat, and Rowling was wearing a scary monster mask.
“Sexy and scary! You smashed this. All the love to you Jo. Happy Birthday!!!! Extra points to @msevylynch for being the most perfect cat” Watson wrote on Instagram.
Fans were quick to like and comment on the picture, including Lynch herself. “Ahhhh I didn’t know this photo existed,” Lynch commented.
“30 points to Gryffindor,” wrote another person.
